Frequently Asked Questions
THAN ANYTHING ELSE IN THE MARKET?
Energizer is the world’s first brand to offer a coin lithium battery with 3 lines of defense: our child-resistant packaging, a non-toxic bitter coating, and the exclusive color alert technology. Together, these features createthe most comprehensive safety solution on the market to help prevent accidental ingestion and help detection.
At Energizer, we strive to provide both long-lasting performance and child safety. Through extensive testingand research, we optimized the bitterant’s formula and its application to ensure it does not compromise battery performance. Our batteries have undergone comprehensive testing across various devices, confirming the optimal placement of our safety enhancements without sacrificing performance.
While extensive research was done on devices to ensure compatibility, if for some reason you experienceany performance issue, a slight rotation of the battery should resolve it.
WITHOUT BEING TREATED?
These batteries should be kept away from moisture. If they are exposed to moisture, including a humid environment, there is risk that the dye will stain other objects.
Dye staining the mouth and/or hands may be removed with repeated washing, rinsing, or tooth brushing. If dye stains a device, wipe with damp cloth and/or use a cotton swab to remove dye. The staining should not impact device performance. For all other surfaces, manufacturers of blue food coloring also recommend blotting with a paper towel, rinsing with water, applying white vinegar, and washing according to the care label.
